"Haymarket is a peaceful part of Edinburgh and Gardner’s Crescent is a very quiet road. I mainly walked in and out of the city centre, which is done quite easily, but also used the tram, rail, and bus services with stops nearby. The staff were all very helpful. A particular shout out to Sakuba, Sophie, and Krish, and the rest of the breakfast crew who made every morning start well."

"Something different with very helpful staff. Location for eating out options was excellent and the city tram was a 5 - 10 minute walk away so easy to get into the city from Leith. Even better the same tram takes you all the way to the airport and as it is near the end of the run seats and luggage storage are not a problem. "Overall, our stay was excellent. The room was very comfortable, and the view of the bridges in South Isensferrt was absolutely lovely. We dined at the restaurant and were very impressed — both the food and the service were great. Our only issue was with the check-out experience. I had an important meeting at 11 and we politely asked if we could have a slightly later checkout — just by 30 minutes to an hour. Unfortunately, the staff member at the front desk was quite abrupt and didn’t respond...

"We loved our stay at the Dalmahoy this October. We had a four day holiday with a baby and toddler and had a nice, relaxing time thanks to the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the hotel. We had a superior double room which had plenty of space for two cots and still some. It was comfortably warm (during a storm too), but perhaps on the warmer side.
