"Situated on the A34 near Winchester, 15 mins away from City centre by car. Days Inn South, is a great place to stay, Its within a service station with a McDonald's & a Costa Coffee on the service site.The receptionist was very polite, kind and very welcoming.My room was on the ground floor, It was clean, comfortable and had tea/coffee facilities plus a lovely comfortable double bed plus a sofa bed. "I was visiting from the United States. The hotel was very nice. The front desk staff was excellent getting us a taxi to the port. There was only one gentleman who had not a very nice attitude and he worked at the bar, tall white guy. I had a handicap room that I did not care for, but that was all that was available when I checked in overall The hotel was nice."
