"The staff at the check-in was exceptional. While they were trying to deal with the implementation of the new computer system and the manager working long hours, they still managed to be very polite and give very professional and friendly service. The rooms are very well maintained and the size and amenities exceeded expectations for the price. The check-out handled by the night shift was curt and unresponsive. I would have felt better dropping the cards in a kiosk or leaving in the room. I only went by the desk to inform the staff that you should supply the rooms with anti-slip shower mats or you're going to get sued as slippery as the shower floor was in my room. I informed the night shift desk attendant and I had to look directly at him to be certain that he acknowledged he heard me. If not for the check out and very slippery shower I would have nothing but 5+ reviews and comments."

"The hotel was nice and clean. The room was in decent shape and clean.. I felt comfortable in the room. The bathtub had a couple weak spots and there were some patch spots in it, but good showerhead and water pressure. The only real complaint I had was the pool area. There was no ventilation and the chlorine smell was so strong it hurt to breathe. My son actually had a choking cough kind of fit when he got in the water from the chlorine. Apparently this wasn’t the case for everyone though, because there were still people in the pool (and they had run out of pool towels) but for my family, it was rough. We chose to stay at this hotel because they had a swimming pool and we have children that asked to swim. We stayed in a room directly across from the pool so they could see it every time the door was opened. Probably the worst part was the hot tub. You could not use the hot tub with the jets on because the little mist of water would bubble up into your face and tear your eyes up. Then it was awkward for everyone to be sitting in it without the jets going.. it felt like we were in a bath tub together. Overall it was a nice place and worth the money paid and the front desk staff was very friendly."

"Megan checked us in at the front desk. Megan was very attentive, personable, and very nice! I talked to Aliyah and she sent an engineer to our room. Corlis sprayed the room and asked if we wanted to stay in the room or move to another room. We decided to change rooms. Aliyah and Corlis were very prompt and professional in expediting the problem. My sister and I would certainly stay at the Fontana Hotel if ever we travel to Indianapolis again."
