"Staff were very welcoming and polite. We had an issue with the telly in the first room they put us in, when speaking to the staff about this they decided to move us rooms which was so thoughtful. They didn’t have to do this. For it being a little hidden gem we will definitely be back!! Once again thank you to the staff at Hansen Hotel. We felt so welcome and check in was so easy also."

"This has to be one of the best hotels in Newcastle, it was so clean and fairly quiet at night offering a good nights sleep, bed was comfy and absolutely HUGEEE, staff were lovely with easy check-in and the quayside (river) view from the window was lovely. "A great price for a convenient city centre hotel. The room was not big but absolutely suited us for a midweek overnight stay, comfortable bed, good powerful hot shower and tea/coffee making facilities for the morning. Helpful staff, late night bar service and a good midday checkout made for a very pleasant experience. "

Quality bed linen and towels too. Plenty of choice of cooked and continental style breakfast items. Really great value stay. Will definitely be back for another stay."

"Would usually book a hotel as moving child to Newcastle Uni but due to home match and lots of other parents moving their kids in, hotels were thin on the ground! Picked the apartments and was pleasantly surprised. Ticked all the boxes and great to have a small kitchen. Had everything we needed. Only criticism would be a lack of bedside table/shelf and the sofa wasn’t the comfiest but it was all clean and functional. Will def recommend. "
