Room furnitures are dated, TV in bedroom not straight, signal mattress on the bed worn out sheets on the bed are tin just pain old dated for the price that was charged.

The entire staff at the Marlin was in a word "Phenomenal"! Traveling the entire Caribbean for over 50 years, we find the Bahamians the most friendliest people ever! We love the interactions with them as they always are quick with a smile, and making you laugh. A special "thank you" to K,C. who works the front gate security as I had the privilege of talking to and learning so much more of the history of Grand Bahama Island! Thank you all so much, we will return.

The place is 5 stars. The room is spacious. Kitchen are fully equipped. A/C is nice. The pool, slide, mini falls, and the pool bar is also a plus. However, the restaurant closes early and there are no convenience stores/vending machines nearby. Had to drive to the nearest store/restaurant. Apart from that, everything is perfect.

The property looks great, the staff is helpful and accomadating but there are some issues that could definitely be easily fixed. The pool is ipen longer than the slide which is crazy. Check in is at 3 but the slide closed at 4 and the pool at 6?? Was told to check out at 10 but sat in the parking lot ajd saw multiple people checking out at 11. So im guessing that 10 is for locals and 11 for foreigners? The tv's are also extremely outdated. The one's at their lesser hotel are bigger and more up to date.

I have been going to Taino Beach and staying in the Marlin for several years now. The area is kept clean, the pool is magnificent and the staff is great. I will go back again.

Such a beautiful little hideaway spot!!! The ocean is right there! The pool is there with this amazing underwater bar, Alfie was ulterior best!! Visited twice now, and will be definitely coming back!! Love this little hideaway gem!!

Very nice beach. The property has seen better days, especially the room, seemed a bit underkept. It was low season but it almost seemed like the place was closed

Disappointed

Horrible check in experience. After traveling for 14 hours we just wanted to get to our room and relax. We were instead directed to not one but two different areas to be sold a Time Share then several excursions. We were not allowed to get our room key until we sat through these sales pitches. After about another 45 minutes, we were able to make it to the room where it was extremely disappointing. The room was old, dirty and dated. I attempted to access the room safe but I was not working. The Fridge was not working either and was old and dirty, I stepped on a piece of glass that had not been properly swept up or cleaned. We asked twice for a service technician to fix the fridge, but he never came. We were finally moved the next day to another room that was not much better. All bad from there.
