"Not the fanciest hotel but adequate for a single night. Room was a good size with plenty of space for luggage. The drive to Stansted Airport in the morning was quick and straightforward."

"Well designed former Holiday Express Inn, now part of the B&B Hotel group. Good sized rooms and bathrooms with a small bar and basic restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is positioned next to Whittlesford Parkway railway station, with frequent services to Cambridge (9-minute journey). It’s also a 5-minute drive to nearby IWM Duxford airfield. Be warned that the hotel uses Smart Parking Limited that has a particularly poor rating on Trustpilot. Be sure to enter your correct vehicle registration, and get a receipt. The hotel currently charges £10 per day for parking."

"The location of the hotel is quite unusual -adjacent to what appears to be a truck stop & apart from some fast food kiosks inside the commercial centre, there are no other food options nearby. My welcome was enthusiastic & friendly & Debie, on reception, went to some effort to ensure I had a quiet room .(10/10 Debie!) Room was clean & although not large, was adequate for a short stay. Dinner menu was limited -although the curry I enjoyed, was outstanding. Breakfast not so much. Adequate -but quite a limited range & definitely not exciting. Gluten free options didn't seem to be readily available & bread was the usual supermarket mass produced quality I am definitely not a fan of the practice of penalty pricing for breakfast or the reluctance to adjust the dinner pricing when 1 item was not available. The ONLY bus service to here is number 509 from Stansted airport- even though some sites will show other options. It is also not possible to walk. Stansted only has 1 hotel within the airport , so a public bus will service pretty much everything else. A quiet location & a reasonable choice in this price range"

"Charming hotel, great location"

"We booked this as a last minute deal, myself, my girlfriend and our 3 month old. We had been to Cambridge before and this hotel is in an excellent location. Important to mention we booked this through Hotels.com. Before arriving I asked for a cot in the room and also confirmed this on the app. We also did this for room service. This cot did NOT turn up. As we had a basinet this was not the end of the world. The hotel room is not well equipped. We had to ask for an iron and iron board but this did not turn up within the 45 minutes we waited. This hotel does not provide a fridge, dressing gowns or slippers. Finally, we were there when there was a wedding. This was fine, however if I knew a couple has an infant baby I would not put this room as close to the music as possible. Not the end of the world if we did not have a baby but was difficult to put him to sleep. Overall, this was disappointing. I may stay again but in my opinion you have better options in Cambridge."
