Good place to stay at if youre travelling alone. Everybody kept to themselves for the most part but the staff and the visitors are open to engage if you're willing to. The bedding is quite thin and you may feel the wood beneath it if you're in the dorm so if that's not your cup of tea, i would recommend against it. Also there are separate fees for toothbrushes and towels

Brilliant stay!

Was a wonderful and brilliant welcome to Japan as we stayed here our first two nights. The staff were really helpful and friendly, being very speedy on our notice about arriving a little later than expected and helping us navigate trying to send our luggage ahead of us. The hostel itself was really clean and had a calm and well set out interior, everything made sense and was just asthetic overall :)

Pros: the place is really cute. Traditional Japanese style hostel. The staff is really kind and helpful. The other guests were also really nice people and interesting to talk with. My only con and reason why I gave an overall rating at 3/5 starts: the bed and pillow was horrible to sleep on. I ended up getting very little sleep the whole trip because my back was in serious pain and my neck was killing me from the pillow - i actually think it was all due to the pillow and not so much the mattress. There was absolutely no neck support and it left me with horrible neck and headaches throughout the day. Also I was in a bottom sleeping bed and it was really hot, but that's honestly something that can't be helped except to turn up the A/C in which case the top bunks get real cold, so not much that can be done there. Truly the place was wonderful but the lack of sleep really impeded my overall enjoyment of the whole trip.

古い町屋を素敵にリノベーションしている。 2段の下に四泊しましたが、快適にすごせました。海外の方も多いので、かつて行ったことのあるイスラエルのキブツみたいな楽しさもありました。 呉服町は、博多のオールドシティで、歴史あるお寺も多く、気に入りました。 スタッフの方たちも、親切でよかったです。ありがとう！

La ubicación era excepcional, para mi que iba un par de días a Fukuoka había muchos servicios que podía ir andando, al igual que una estación de subway que te llevaba directo al aeropuerto. El staff fue muy amable todo el tiempo y me explicaron todo muy bien. Me gusto mucho el diseño de todo el lugar lo hacía sentir muy acogedor, sin duda lo recomiendo.

今まで泊まったドミトリーの中で一番良かったです。たまたまかもしれないけど、他のお客様のマナーも良く、こんなに快適にグッスリ眠れたドミトリーは初めてでした。 対応してくださったスタッフも、とても感じが良かったです。感謝！お寺が沢山ある、趣のある素敵な通り添いだったのも、癒されました。 また是非泊まりたいです！

①共有スペース(食事スペース？)が貸切で19~21時まで使えなかった。 ②貸切中共有スペースの音声や物音がドミトリーまで聞こえまくり。 ③何の音か判らないが、コツコツという音が常にしていて気になって眠れなかった。 ④｢朝食込の料金｣と明記されていたのに｢現在朝食の提供はしていない｣という事は何処にも書いてないし、聞かされていない。説明不足。 ⑤朝、中国人？らしき女性が我が物顔で居られましたが、お客様ですか？スタッフですか？ 口コミを信じて利用させて頂きましたが、間違いだったようです。

入ったときのアットホーム感、スタッフの方々皆さんが本当に優しくて、早く宿に帰りたいなと思える場所でした。 秘密基地ができたようなワクワクする気持ちはホテルでは味わえないなと思いました。 もちろん部屋の広さや音漏れ共有スペース等で高いホテルに比べたら劣る部分はありますが、それが全く気にならない楽しい思い出ができてしまって、最高の宿を見つけてしまった感が拭えない。 ありがとうございました。

綺麗で良い空間です！呉服町駅は激近、中洲川端駅も歩けます！

3泊4日お世話になりました！ ベッドや毛布の使い心地が良く、ゆっくり眠れました♬ お風呂は8人で1つ？で、他の方が使っている時間を30分ほど待つことはありましたが、長く入る方もいなかったため、心配していた様な不快な時間は無かったです！ ホームページに記載のある呉服町駅からはとても近く、また中洲川端駅まで歩いて10分弱で、とっても良かったです！ 中洲川端駅からなら、空港まで1本です！ 唯一あまり良くなかったのが、共有スペースです。夜にPC作業をしたくて共有スペースがあるゲストハウスを選んだのですが、スタッフさん同士(？)で盛り上がっており、作業に使える様な雰囲気ではなかったです。明るく仲の良い雰囲気は良かったのですが、予約サイトに「共有スペースはあるが、使えない日もある」という記載があると良かったです！ ただ、総括したらとても良いゲストハウスでした！

The Staffs were lovely and I really had fun drinking and sharing my stories and experiences with other visiters. It was such a warm atmosphere there. All people are so lovely at that night :) The only problem for me was I had to be in long queue for taking a shower in nearly curfew time.

Very good but a bit uncomfortable...

Marvelous Guesthouse in the midst of Fukuoka. So close to HAKATA station : just 10 minutes walk. All personnels are very nice, especially, SAKE, the smiling lady who is very friendly and industrious! C. E. O. is very young, speaks fluently English despite a bit business-like character. So to speak, all CEOs have the same character over the planet! Highly recommend Guesthouse but you have to prepare toiletries by yourself! Even towel is a rental stuff!
