"A very traditional hotel. Location was not the best for our needs. Need to take either subway or train from JR station. Staff was nice. Breakfast was average. There were no local specialties and needed to wait for seating although not so busy."

"Room was small, as is typical in Japan. Not a lot place to put luggage and purchases for three people. No dresser to put clothes in, and nowhere to hang used towels. Excellent location, easy walk to Hakata station."
