"The kickback and free breakfast is best part of stay. Kickback is 5-7pm and you get 3 free alcohol drinks and some hot snacks per person. That’s where the luxury ends. Rooms are super small and basic, same with bathrooms water pressure is terrible. Location of hotel is nice only a 10min river walk to the island which is a huge attraction in pigeon forge. Pool and hot tub definitely need updated. The bar and kitchen returns inside the hotel is nice but way over priced for the quality."

"Hotel is very nice. The breakfast was good and hot 24 hour coffee. They only complaint I had is housekeeping we stayed there nine nights in a row and not once had our room cleaned our sheets changed but other than that it was great."

"Very clean. Staff was friendly. We needed additional blankets and the front desk gave us some. Nothing to complain about. Breakfast is to go. You can grab a Coffee, Popcorn, Donuts, Cookies and similar items to go... by the check in reception. We would stay here again."

"Nice hotel with close proximity to restaurants and activities… could walk to the Island (very nice area with lots to do). Free gated parking and awesome breakfast buffet. Cost decent compared to other hotels in the area. Only cons to this hotel is The Island can get a bit loud on a Friday night and the rooms were a bit dated (only a bit). Good bed and air condition. I would stay here again, experience was a good one! "

"I had read all the reviews concerning The Walden before I booked 4 nights. People complained of watery eggs, only one elevator working, lack of hot water, on and on! My wife and I experienced none of that. Excellent breakfast with staff member refilling items constantly, both elevators operating every day, hot water, clean room. Easy check-in and out with friendly staff. This is a bargain in the area."

"Everything was fantastic. Breakfast was egg McMuffin and biscuits and gravy along with other options. Room was incredible and location to pigeon Island was awesome. The price was incredible (off-season). Definitely going to stay there again. "

"Hotel was on the main strip in Pigeon Forge, but far enough off the road to be quiet at night. My favorite part of the stay was the amazing breakfast! Sausage, eggs, omelets, hashbrowns, french toast, regular toast with jelly or peanut butter, 3 cereal choices, and yogurt. And coffee and 2 juice choices. It was wonderful!"

"I'm a picky traveler and I was very well pleased with my stay. I want things nice and clean. Breakfast was very good the two days we went. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. will return again."

"Got a family suite. Room had a weird smell, AC vent was full of crumbs and chunks of gross stuff that might be contributing to the smell. Blanket smelled funny too. The two bedrooms have no door separating them. Both are upstairs and only accessible through a narrow shaky staircase, hard to fit/lift luggage up there. Staff friendliness made up for the experience. "
