"What a wonderful find!!! We travel extensively and it is rare that every factor of a good stay is met- this hotel met them. The staff upon arriving were warm, friendly and efficient and this continued though from breakfast to dinner.
The food and ambiance of the restaurant was awesome. We had the set evening menu and the fish was amazing. The breakfast cooked selection was great too from extra vegetarian sides of courgettes and spinach - which I had with my English breakfast.
The Spa was great and the pool nice. One downside point it was not clearly stated before booking that hotel guests have restricted access included before 9am and after 5pm. This should be noted before booking.
It is not in the centre on Conwy but a good 45 minute walk in- however such a lovely setting in the exclusive marina with great views across the harbour it is worth it.
We will definitely stay again"
"Very nice hotel that I will return to on my next visit to Caernarfon. Lots of on site parking, and very friendly and helpful staff on reception. I arrived at the same time as a coach party, but the reception staff made sure I didn't have to wait. The room was very clean with lots of space and a good sized clean bathroom. It took a while to work out the light switches to turn on the bathroom light without all the other lights, but not a huge problem. Excellent hotel that I would recommend to friends and family."
"The hotel was in a great position and lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The bed was one of the comfiest beds we have had in a hotel and we had a good night's sleep. The breakfast choices were good and the Full Welsh breakfast was good quality food and cooked to perfection. This was our first stay here and we would definitely return should we return to Llandudno."
"We had a nice room on the 4th floor with a lovely sea view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. More variety of fruit and choice of cooked food would have been good. Shame there is no parking but this applies to most of the hotels."
"We recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Llandudno and had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel valued throughout our stay.
The food was of excellent quality, with a good variety of choices available at each meal. Everything was well presented and very enjoyable.
Our family room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped with thoughtful amenities including a coffee machine, hairdryer, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The facilities throughout the hotel were excellent and well maintained.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the outstanding sea view from our room. Having a balcony overlooking the beautiful coastline made our visit extra special, providing the perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend the Grand Hotel Llandudno to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation, great food, excellent facilities, and breathtaking sea views"
