"It's a such a beautiful place Mainly for golf seekers. Yet u could enjoy the area around... Foot trail , lake, peace and quiet. Loved it, my friend nurse and I nurse such an escape from reality. 1000 thanks/ God bless you. There is also a great dinner/ roscoe for a breakfast/ so delicious and Italian restaurant/ dont remember the name of it. Richmond's? "I stayed in a third floor room with a brand new bathroom, the room itself could use a little updating, but it was clean and perfectly fine. It’s a great value and it comes with a delicious for breakfast. Everyone that works there is super nice and there’s a restaurant and bar in the first floor."

"100 year old small hotel in a small Pocono town. Has everything you need, comfy bed, tiny shower, in room wine glasses. Coffee and packaged snacks and fruit are in a central location. There is an excellent Italian restaurant with a lively bar on the first level. Be sure to reserve for dinner during your stay. The hotel does make clear your room is located on the 2nd floor. No elevator."

"While generally clean enough, the property does not let visitors know in advance that: a) their room will not have a TV; b) the rooms do not have cell service; c) the room has no desk; and, d) most of the rooms require a walk up a hill so steep that it required two "back-and-forth" paths. In addition, computer problems screwed up check-in such that after walking up the big hill, my key didn't work because it was for the wrong room. All of this doesn't make the property completely un-stayable,...

"Everything was great, especially the young blonde front desk agent when we checked in. Super friendly, informative, and efficient. However, the next morning when we came back from breakfast, a new older front desk agent with glasses was there and she had a giant unleashed pitbull with her, and it was blocking the front door when we opened, it the pitbull would not move. The front desk agent was not necessarily concerned about it, and kind of got irritated when I commented that it was ridiculous...
