"Staff treated us as if we were bothering them. The hallways were loud, no staff addressed that. Beds uncomfortable. Carpets were not clean in halls or our room. We also asked for clean towels at 8am when we left the hotel only to return later at nearly 4pm with no clean towels to use. We had to wait for staff to handle this which took some of our precious vacation time away from us. No apology for the clean towel issue, only excuses. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. "I give Comfort Inn & Suites W. Seneca, NY 4 stars because of the customer care and service delivery. For me, the location was important because it was quiet with a mostly mature adult-type ambiance. The staff were very friendly and put a lot of care in handling my room accommodation needs when I arrived later in the evening. Each ask was met with a smile and in the affirmative which is rare in itself today. I would have liked to have seen more hot oatmeal or mixed fruit bowls for breakfast...

"We ordered a room, and paid for a specific room. The hotel was apparently going through “random renovations.” However, no one communicated with us and informed us of any change in our stay. We understand the issue with using a third party site. Although we used a third party site, the hotel staff was not only rude when explaining the situation, but they were unwilling to compensate us in any way shape or form. Moreover, we did not receive any form of communication from the hotel about the change...

"Overall a very nice stay! Loved the ability to open the windows, helps you feel like you’re not in a stuffy hotel! The shower layout was very odd to say the least with no curtain and no door. I can see the vision where they thought the shower was deep enough to prevent water from going out of the shower but no…. "Nice historic house with comfortable common rooms and a great location, close to downtown restaurants and a Walgreens open 24 hours. But my bedroom was so small I could not easily walk around, and the half-bathroom was also very small. Wes, the owner, welcomed me at check-in and has a warm personality. But breakfast was not offered, even though a Booking listing said breakfast was provided and the owner mentioned breakfast too. "
