"Staff treated us as if we were bothering them. The hallways were loud, no staff addressed that. Beds uncomfortable. Carpets were not clean in halls or our room. We also asked for clean towels at 8am when we left the hotel only to return later at nearly 4pm with no clean towels to use. We had to wait for staff to handle this which took some of our precious vacation time away from us. No apology for the clean towel issue, only excuses. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. "The good: Great location in the Elmwood Village area. Extremely walkable. Once you're inside, the place is beautiful. It oozes charm and personality. The common areas are great, and our room was very, very nice. Comfortable bed, large bathroom, new TV, fridge. Parking was very convenient. Entry into the building and the room was great, with a custom code that worked on both doors. Finally, very responsive concierge (we interacted through text). The not-so-good: Our room was on the 1st floor, so...

"They go the extra step with good quality eggs and good variety of hot and cold breakfast. The weight room has better than average equipment to get strength training. Love the parrot too!"

"Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. The pastries were stale. There was little variety, and to choose from elevators are too dark and need to be brightened up. I can hardly read the number buttons because it is so dark in the elevators. Also, it would help to get rid of the fake plants in the rooms"

"Clean rooms, no black out shades though. The pool was packed with kids the weekend I was there. So if you want to enjoy the pool I would inquire about big groups when you book. "
