"Helpful staff. Room initially was for handicapped— so we had to move. Room large and bed comfortable. Shower large but extremely slippery (needed rubber mats). Closet space too small for 5 day trip. Buffet breakfast very nice with custom cooked omelettes."

I seldom order room service on vacations but I am so glad I took advantage this time. The breakfast was both delicious and very generous. Also ordered dinner one evening and was thrilled with the food and the quick service. Highly recommended indulgence!"

"This hotel was an excellent location for a short visit to Lyon. Short walk to restaurants and shops, and to the funicular to Basilique Notre Dame. Also, right on the Saone River. The hotel room was comfortable, although carpet was stained and looking tired. Carpet in hallways were also stained and tired. Furniture also had stains and was in need of deep clean or replacement. "Central location minutes from many restaurants. Good comfortable bed. There was a massive lamp over our bed which was a great feature but didn't work so didn't understand the purpose. We stayed on the 3rd floor and there was a very unattractive stain on the floor. There were inconsistencies with the staff helpfulness. "We had a lovely stay at Charité! The hotel is basic but comfortable. Good mattress, powerful shower, effective air con and quiet rooms. Reception were super friendly (we spoke with 4 different individuals across our stay, all great) and the coffee was appreciated! The hotel was an excellent location for us and we walked most places.
