"Great location and quality breakfast. The hotel is decorated to a high standard. Unfortunately this doesn’t make up for how small the rooms are. The rooms are the smallest I have ever stayed in and were very claustrophobic. This is particularly unacceptable in a 5 star hotel. We used the bar area downstairs instead of the room to rest in during the day time. All of the public areas are cramped. I think they have just tried to fit too much into the space when renovating. "This hotel is in the heart of Gamla Stan, Stockholm's old town, just a few steps from its main square with restaurants, shops, and the Nobel Museum. It is quirky, filled with memorabilia and antiques related to Lady Hamilton, Lord Nelson's mistress. The rooms are small, but functional. The breakfast is included and excellent. Highly recommended if you are looking for something unique."

"This is an old, charming small apartment in a great location with everything you need. It worked perfectly for our family of four. We did laundry and used the drying rack provided. We cooked some light meals (we shopped at the market in the gamla stan Subway station and at the outdoor market above). Listened to music and watched the World Cup in the bar nextdoor. "There is no lobby or reception amenities like we experienced at many other European stays, but that was okay. Staff was nice enough. Didn’t interact much since we didn’t need much. The room was a surprise in a good way. Extremely spacious and with a table and seating area. Lots of chairs for relaxing and lots of outlets. It was clean and stayed super cool.
