"We brought expensive food back to the room just to find out the room refrigerator was running on max but barely had a few spots cool at best. the rest of the refrigerator areas were not cool at all. luckily we had a cooler with us and packed it with ice to keep the food from going bad.
I am a coffee drinker and before our arrival I had called the hotel to see what type of coffeemaker was in the room. It was a Keurig. So I brought some of my favorite Kcups. The Keurig was dirty and looked like it had not been clean in a long while. So I couldn't make coffee. Coffee was only available in the lobby at breakfast time. The bathroom floor was dirty in spots especially areas in front of walls. Maybe housekeeping only sweeps & mops pathways where they think people walk. these problems were reported to staff - twice even. Got one "I am sorry" as the clerk wrote on a post it note. The other time when reported, the clerk said these problems would be addressed. No one came to our room to clean the kuerig & the bathroom floor and no one came to check the refrigerator. One unreported issue was the floors must be paper thin because I could hear steps from the room above us. these steps were not quiet at all. We were disappointed for sure that reported issues were not fixed. In the elevator, a sign said Hilton guarantees issues get fixed during your stay. yeah right! the positives about our stay - bed & pillows were comfortable, the room was big and spacious. Would not stay here again."
