"Unique little inn in the Scottish countryside. There is a bar downstairs which closes at 10:30. Friendly staff and although small the room was very clean and inviting. Would be happy to stay again!"

"The room was clean and the bed was cozy and fluffy. The hallway was dusty and dirty and needed vacuuming. The office staff was delightful. The location was hard to find since it sits behind a restaurant, don’t trust Google Maps on this one. I had to stop at a local petrol station for directions. Breakfast was the typical Scottish menu. Parking was great! "

"The location of the property is glorious, spectacular views and if you do not wish to eat in the restaurant there are several others about a one mile walk away in Balloch or a short drive. Although our room was small, it was well decorated and had everything we needed. The only downside was having a room which overlooked the roadside. It was extremely noisy with guests and staff leaving/entering the building at all times of the night/early morning and the noise from the A82 from early hours was...

"As we visited in the month of May , it was cold and we had to beg to have the heat turned on. Once it was,it was comfortable. I do not think that the rooms have seen any updating since the 1970’s…the room furniture was not in good shape. The hotel is well situated overlooking Loch Lomond and easy to get anywhere. This breakfast was great!"

"Sauberes Zimmer, Super Frühstück, Gastgeber super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hilfe gab es auch bei der Restaurantreservierung. Im Zimmer selbst gibt es eine große Tee und Kaffeebar, sowie 2 Sessel in denen man sehe gemütlich sitzt. Aussicht ist toll und sehr ruhig gelegen. Kann jedem nur empfehlen hier her zu kommen. Die Gastgeber haben die Einrichtung sehr gut durchdacht und es ist alles da was man braucht. Das beste B&B auf unserer Schottlandrundreise. Besser als jede Hotelkette."

"Very bright and modern rooms with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good and fresh and the dinner in the pub was good as well. Great for a one night stay as everything is there in the same building. The town is small but the Doune castle is worth visiting."
