View is awesome. But condo upstairs bedroom had lots of bugs flying. So could use it. Master there was no lights. Kitchen had very less pots and pans...cant say full kitchen.

Enjoyed our week stay at deer ridge resort . Property clean and well maintained. The view from our room amazing!! Quiet but also close to all activities. The small restaurant here also very good . Ate a great dinner and watched the sunset from the patio. Also saw 5 bears!

Amazing views

The view outside our balcony was amazing! The condo was recently updated and was very comfortable. It was decorated very well. My only negative was the TV in the bedroom was really grainy and hard to watch.

This was our 3rd time staying at Deer Ridge. I miss the friendly, helpful faces at the front desk. It looks like some of the condos have been taken over and they are redoing and updating them. Our friends condo looked like the door had been busted in and a real pair attempted. They had difficulty opening their door and being able to use all of the locks. Our condo was well equipped, the bed could have had a little more cushion but everything was clean. The room was spacious and while the stove was really old it worked well. Our friends stayed in another condo and it was missing a toaster. They only had one mirror (bathroom only) which made it difficult for everyone to get ready. Our room had mirrored closet doors and a mirror with the dresser. We will stay again because it is close to places we love to visit. Sad that the property seems to have gone down hill since being taken over.

Wonderful views and value.

The condo was great. Very clean and comfortable. Nightly sunsets from the unit were spectacular. You cannot beat the view. The bed was comfortable. The hot tub was great and so was the pool. You cannot beat this unit value. The only issue was that the coffee carafe was a replacement that did not fit the coffee maker and there was always grounds in the coffee because is did not drain properly. The shower curtain is about 3 inches too short so you had to be very careful when taking a shower to make sure that the water did not go onto the floor. The TVs in the unit were not smart TVs so you could not access apps like netflix or hulu. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

I had originally booked another unit that looked great online. The property management office called me a week prior to tell me the unit I had originally rented was under maintenance and the moved me to another unit. They called it an upgrade since it had 2 bedrooms (I only needed 1) but the unit may have been larger but was very rundown. It definitely did not look as nice as the one I booked, but then again I didn’t get to see that unit in person. The view of the mountains was amazing but I definitely would have booked a hotel instead of paying the price for the condo.

Beautiful property but very poorly managed and total lack of communication. I had to call in with my debt card for incidentals and confirmed a two bedroom two bath but when we arrived 1 bedroom, 1 bed upstairs and a pull out couch with a tiny bathroom. We had two families so 4 adults and a 13 year old boy in a 2 bedroom 1 bath condo. We contacted the number given and couldnt do anything about it. Make sure to confirm your condo. Otherwise quiet and beautiful. The cleaning was subpar and ended up having to clean and lysol everything and my son still got sick. The pull out bed was a joke and absolutely awful. Also dont follow GPS unless its google maps. Also be cautious on the road driving up and down. Gaitlinburg was very busy but it was Christmas. Still plan to park and walk.
