"The setting was nice and the room decent but there were a few issues. The gym ac wasn't working, along with the water station. The front desk person was often having to do double duty, running between the Starbucks area and desk. This led to many people waiting. What appeared to be a manager was dressed completely unprofessional. The check out wasn't until 8a.m. on the TV and we needed to leave earlier. Having to come to the front desk was fine but waiting around for some time before someone...

"The only thing I didn't really like is the ac wasn't very cool and it ran the entire stay. Everything else was good."

"This was a charming lodge! On the quieter part of downtown Gatlinburg, we appreciated getting out of the hustle and bustle. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and we enjoyed the experience of seeing a bear meander through the stream behind the lodge (happily viewing from the 3rd floor) from our little balcony. Check-in and check-out simple and straightforward, it was the perfect ending to our trip through the mountains."

"Friendly staff, extremely clean and comfortable rooms with an amazing creek rapids view from the private balcony. (No bear sightings but the Canadian geese were fun to watch.) Breakfast provided variety of fresh made pancakes, bagels, toast, yogurts, fruits, cereal, and breakfast sandwiches you could heat. The pool was by the street, but since hotel is tucked away it’s still pretty private for a cold refreshing dip on a hot summer day. I highly recommend this lodge and whenever I return to...

"The historic Gatlinburg Inn delivered as a step back into the past of when things were slower and easier, and just a little more family oriented, sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs in the evening with not a car in the world was made very pleasant as well as their amazing breakfast and delicious homemade strawberry cake"
