Central, well priced and easy to access. Only 500m from Barwon Health, I booked this very last minute so I could be nearby an unwell family member, and the Eastern Sands staff could not have been more accommodating with my booking and late check in instructions. The room is basic but spacious, comfy bed and hot shower- you don't need much more. Walking distance to the CBD, hospital and waterfront. Off street parking. Rooms are not very soundproof, but I was that tired the noise from next door and the street wasnt that bothersome at all.

Worth for the price but quite old and has not renovated or upgraded for a while in my opinion. The place was convenient as it was 2 mins walk to the Geelong water front and 7mins walk to shopping mall and restaurants. Overall the experience was okey. If you plan a budget trip this is okey but, not for luxury.
