Enjoyed the stay but the stress of booking and confirmation ruined the trip for me and my husband. Husband booked the room for me but the booking system picked up the name from his credit card and the hotel refused to honor the reservation. We couldn’t get anyone to help us . We Lived in total stress for over a month until she arrival at the hotel. And was allowed to check in. They told me when I called from indonesia that I would not be able to check in even with a copy of our marriage certificate. The only recourse given us was to reach out to the hotel directly but they were unreachable from the US . We have stayed all over the world and never had this issue before.

Kamar di toilet family room

Lokasi hotel strategis, kebersihan, pelayanan, dan kenyamanan kurang karena letak hotel dgn pub / cafe dekat. Sehingga music kedengaran kalau kita mengambil kamar tipe family. Dan toilet di family room, kurang nyaman, karena sesudah mandi lantai menjadi basah , karena lantai menyatu dengan wastafel. Secara keseluruhan hotel termasuk memuaskan bagi saya...Thanx..!!

affordable hotel with not soo good staff

The overall experience on this hotel was fine, they need to improve more on several small details such as room cleanliness and the toilet design whivh could easily wet the entire bathroom floor. the staff were not very helpful or sorry to say not very knowledgable as well. They work strictly on SOP and didnt want to do extra to fulfill their guest needs. the hotel also put mostly trainee FO staff on the most busy hour which slows things down. overall, will still go back maybe but will never put my expectation too high for this particular hotel.

Saya sudah sering menginap di hotel ini, dan menurut saya pelayanan hotel ini cukup memuaskan. namun, pada kunjungan terakhir saya, saya mengalami sedikit ketidakpuasan karena saat belum waktunya untuk check-out, kunci kamar saya sudah tidak bisa digunakan (R 510). Saya sudah melapor pada resepsionis sampai 3 kali, tapi kunci kamar saya tetap tidak bisa digunakan.

Perfect hotel for family with young children

It's really beyond our expectation. Room's very clean and neat, smell so fresh. The toilet's very clean indeed and new - no troubles with hot & cold water, and even my children love and enjoy to take the shower. Breakfast menu choices served was not too vary, but the taste was good and food quality was well maintained. Staffs, totally, was very friendly and helpful. There's an in-house local tour provider and car rental also, served by Capital One - it's really really lucky and comfortable to have them, so that sightseeing in Penang was very memorable.

Not a Recommended Hotel for Good Rest and Safety

We stayed for 3 nights in Sentral Georgetown, the location is good (easy to find restaurants) but we have 3 complaints for this hotel: 1. Outside noise can be heard inside the room. Every night we stayed there the sound of loud singing from neighboring karaoke bar/restaurant can be heard up until pass midnight! 2. Slippery bathroom 3. Minimal staff to serve guests. No bellboy to help carry the luggages to our room and very little staff in the breakfast room.

I guess the hotel doesn’t provide any bathrobe for the guest. No toothbrush or other toiletries provided. As a impromptu traveler, this a major minus for me.

I arrived early, checked in, door didnt close properly, had to be forced closed. aircon was on 18, felt like 30deg on the room and unable to connect to wifi. Complained, was put in to 2 more different rooms and told internet definitely worked in last room, No good, aircon not working properly and no wifi. Checked out.

There is nothing I like about this hotel. The room bed sheet looks dirty and old, including the pillows cases. The bath towels are old and worn, requested a change but no action. The toilet is in odd shape. The shower instant heater is noisy when water is turned on. The water pressure is low. The toilet exhaust fan is noisy. The room aircon not operating efficiently and noisy. No sleepers available. There are ants in the room and toilet. No proper vanity top in the toilet. During booking it promised that Deluxe room has city view, but I only seen roof tops of buildings. My room is on level 3. During booking I request a room on the higher floor but was not allotted. Checking in at reception was slow even though there was no other guest. Very poor WiFi connection, slow and unstable.

Tenia habitacion deluxe...no quiero pensar como seran las de menor categoria. Habitacion vieja, la pared desconchada, el baño muy sucio, los azulejos no los han limpiado en su vida, las juntas negras, el aire acondicionado y ventilacion del baño muy ruidoso, las sabanas sucias, las toallas penosas... el buffet del desayuno bastante escaso y lo peor, los cuencos donde tenian las salsas llenas de bichitos y a ninguno de los camareros parecia importarle. En resumen, una decepcion en todos los sentidos... tienen varios premios de años anteriores como mejor hotel del año en Georgetown de otras paginas de reservas... o esos premios se los dan.a cualquiera o no me explicó la decadencia de.este hotel

Old hotel, convenient location

Wasn’t the best of starts. Checked in to 2 rooms to find that in room 1, the telephone wasn’t working (the phone to socket had snapped) and the safe wasn’t working. The safe in room 2 wasn’t reset and so couldn’t be used either. We reported them and were told they would be fixed in the morning. These were rectified in the morning after one of us had gone downstairs to ask the receptionist to come to the room to look at the items. The air conditioner was quite noisy as was the water heater which emitted quite a loud whine whenever used. The splash guard in the toilet was too small and allowed water all over. This was obviously the splash guard when there was a bath tub in there but the tub has since been taken out. The guard was adequate when the tub was there but not now when not. The in room wifi never worked during our 5 day stay. We kept being told it would be fixed the next day. The lobby wifi did work on the first day but thereafter slowed to being usable. The location of the hotel was excellent, however. It was within walking distance to just about anywhere in Georgetown and just across the road from the New Lane hawkers, making it very convenient to get dinner. Breakfast at the hotel was also above average.
