"This is a small and unique property, with a very welcoming staff. It is a "throw back" to the times when hotels were a special place and not a chain commodity. The rooms were large and well appointed. The hotel is close to the Vieux Carre, but far enough away from the madness of Bourbon Street. Our room had the best hotel shower ever - which says a lot about the quality of the property in general. I would not hesitiate to stay there again."

"This hotel has a vintage, boutique feel. The bar is also where you check in and is open 7am-11pm. Make sure to ask for the WiFi password when you check in. There is only street parking available. The rooms are small but cozy. The staff is very friendly. The location is within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants, as well as the St Charles trolley."

"The room was very nice, clean, and had lots of space. The pool and hot tub were very nice. Best part was the 3 free alcoholic drinks and food between 5:30-7. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I had. Only one small complaint- they only cleaned our room once while we were there. I’m not sure if that is their policy or not."

"We had such a great, relaxing stay here. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Every detail inside and out was gorgeous. We fully enjoyed having a drink out on the patio area right after we checked in and staying up late at the bar and talking to the guy who managed the property. We found out he grew up around San Jose which is close to us. He really made our first night so enjoyable. Our room was beautiful, very clean and quiet. "We had a nice stay at the Hyatt House. Kristin at the front desk was wonderful! The room was a nice size, the bed comfy and the room amenities were perfect for our stay. The price per night was fair and everyone was friendly. If you have to use the parking garage I thought that price was pretty high, but we just used Lyft for our transportation needs."
