"I chose this hotel because it was close to Blues Alley and I was celebrating a birthday. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Most of the staff was warm. Front desk was friendly and helpful. I wish I was told that Alex speakeasy stopped serving dinner at 1130 when I made my reservation through the front desk. The valet guys were great and helpful. The hidden fees… whew 2 credit processings fees, taxes on top of taxes fees, destination fee and destination taxes . The rooftop bar was a...

"Overall, the room was very nicely done. The bed was comfortable. Its downtown DC, so the was constant honking and sirens, but that was minor. Only one elevator was working at the time, so expect a little bit of a wait. The only offputting thing i experienced was a manager chewing out the person behind the desk infront of everyone. That was a bit unprofessional by the manager, and should have been done out of the public area. "
