"Hotel Sherman was the perfect oasis for our quick stay in the city. Its entrance is tucked between two buildings, and I almost missed it at first. Upon entering, I felt like I was transported to a quaint Parisian hotel- it was simply lovely! The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The staff was very helpful and upgraded us to a higher floor when we checked in. If it’s your first time in New York City, this is a great location Midtown so you can take the subway."

"We usually stay at the Millennium Premier due to the large size of their rooms and a nice work space to do my hair and makeup. It's being renovated so we had to pivot and find a new hotel. The Michelangelo definitely delivered. The rooms are very large and the bathrooms are too. I'm a bath girl so I appreciated the large sunken bathtub. My husband loved the water pressure of the shower too. The room also had a nice work space area for me to get ready (which is a must). Other things I noticed was...

"Loved our stay! Clean, spacious room and great location - close to Central Park, 5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, with a subway station almost right next door. Very comfortable bed, room was cleaned every day, and staff were helpful (although some of them were not very friendly). Our room was at the back of the property so not so great views but we didn’t really mind it as it means it was quiet. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in NYC!"

"Very dissatisfied. Placed in a top floor room that was so mechanically noisy the first night we didn’t sleep at all. Also the toilet refilled itself every 15 minutes because of a leak somewhere. We were promptly moved the next day too a better room that was great the first night. The second night we were kept awake till past 3 am by a party next door that was loudly arguing and shouting.
