"I traveled from Michigan to Oregon. My stay at the Serena was wonderful. Staff was incredibly helpful. The room was comfortable. I was able to wash my laundry while swimming in the nice indoor pool. The laundry was located in a small room very close to the pool which was peaceful, nicely lit and in a beautiful cedar poolroom. This was a very pleasant stay. Location is very convenient with the added bonus of being near some lovely trails. The continental breakfast was diverse and had fresh food:...

"It’s no-frills but very clean, up to date furnishings, comfortable, central to Sundance. I’d stay there again were I near there or near Devil’s Tower. No problem whatsoever."

"There was a jacuzzi tub in our room . I was happily surprised by that until we found out it didn't work. The hot tubs outside were great. Other than the jacuzzi not working the stay was outstanding! Would absolutly stay here again. The rate was great as well."

"Convenient, clean, very friendly staff, many nice walking paths and routes a few minutes away. The only downside is noise. During both stays, noisy trucks in the parking area started up between 6:30-7:00am and idled for at least 15 minutes before departing. If you wake up and get on the road early this is not an issue. If you’ve had a busy day and are looking to sleep in a little, this can be disruptive. Nonetheless we will still select the Best Western Black Hills Lodge when we visit the area...

"This is the 2nd time for us staying in the yurts. Very affordable, comfy bed, cleanliness of whole property, attention to details, and beautiful location. So close to nature and owners do a nice job of providing everything you need. Lanterns, bedding, towels, toiletries, firewood, coffee. Enjoy the decorating and landscaping outside the property. There is also a gathering space with seating, games, beverages, and tv viewing. Plenty of places to gather and enjoy nature! I look forward to...

"Loved our stay. Quaint old motel nestled in a lovely wood on the edge of town. Outdoor seats all around to hang out under the trees in the evening. Management was prompt, helpful and so friendly. Restroom was small for 6ft+ husband, but it was clean with hot water and good water pressure."
