"We were pleasantly surprised by this property. From the outside, it doesn’t appear particularly inviting, but the interior has been nicely renovated and is modern and well maintained. The rooms were clean and comfortable throughout our stay. Our only criticism is the lack of sound insulation between rooms. Even light noises from neighboring rooms were easily audible, which occasionally impacted the overall comfort of the stay."

"The Melville is a perfect location! the Melville is a historic property, so don't expect modern, but for what we wanted it was perfect - the location AND onsite parking! "Hundreds of cigarette butts everywhere. Had to get my key cards validated 3x in a 2 day stay. Drug deals blatantly going on in and in front of property. Room was disgusting: sheets and pillow cases obviously reused. Went to Walmart to buy my own, fridge was filthy, room dusty, ant-infested, hair in tub. 1 towel and 1 hand towel whole stay. No room service. TV was always going out. Smelled musty. Found women's underwear and top in drawers. I finally heard a vacuum, at 820pm in hallway! No...

"If you are looking to stay near Bowman’s Warf this is the perfect place. It’s quaint, quiet and the breakfast is delicious! They were so helpful and friendly and I will be returning! This Inn is in walking distance to the free trolley service and shopping."
