"Once elegant now a popular spot, the hotel offers a great rooftop bar, a sun deck and pool for guests, a nice restaurant, an adequate workout room and lovely public areas with music, seating and areas for conversation or relaxing. The guest rooms are New York small, with furnishings decades old, pealing wallpaper, strangely set up sinks with the facet too close to the basin so they spray up, showers that get the floor wet and limited room amenities - no coffee makers."

"I went on vacation with my 87-yr. old mother and was really stressed about accessibility (she uses a walker), getting around town, etc. This hotel is very centrally located (we walked to see our show, no problem). But, the best part was the staff. They are all so welcoming, friendly, and accomodating. I will stay again the next time I'm in NY!"

"The hotel is pleasant. I would not stay here if i could help it and would look into other options in the area. The room i got was not the promised one. It was cute, but not great. My windows looked to a brick wall. I guess rhat can't be helped to some degree. The pillows were the highlight of my stay. Very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel, only of the price was absolutely right. Meaning under 200 for sure."
