"Value for money a big ZERO. Not sure why the room is highly priced, no reason at all. Also, they had kept very old hair dryer. When we asked for a replacement, they provided still the older one and both were not working at all. I would not recommend this hotel, there are lesser priced hotels which are very good at the same location."

The one thing I would note is its such a gorgeous historic building and then the rooms are so bare, all white walls, gray flooring, beige hallways. It actually is depressing how little thought, art and design went into furnishing the rooms, Felt like a hospital and was extremely disappointing given how playful and fun the lobby and bars all are. "I loved the property overall. Great location with amazing views! I really dislike the parking process. I feel the hotel need to get a parking structure for us customers. Parking is very terrible and prices are more high."

"The outdoor pool is a plus. Bar staff - especially Jose the bartender - is friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable. They do need more than one bellman to handle picking up luggage, storing luggage etc. it’s a lot for one person."

"We were in town for a concert. The location was great and the price was good. Check in and check out was easy. They even upgraded us to a larger room. It was very appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was waiting on an elevator which could take 15 mins. That seems to be the way at a lot of hotels in Chicago so it doesn't matter. Would consider staying there again."

"Nice hotel, very good location, great view of the city. Bathroom needs some extra light, kind of dark. And also at 11am housekeeping was knocking on the door asking when I am checking out. The check out is at 12pm. No need to disturb guests before that time."
