"The rooms are not sound proof, I can here people walking and running above me. They left a previous customer dirty underwear in the bathroom. There are homeless people around the hotel that walked in and help themselves to coffee and there is no security personnel to watch the premises. I didn't feel safe so I won't be going back there. I love holiday Inn ihg but after this one, I'm thinking twice about it."

"The rooms are very old and not updated, feels really nice outside but the rooms are very average. The front desk people are a hit or miss, some are nice and helpful and others have an attitude like they dont want to be there and dont give you any information for your stay that you should get when you check in, like how the parking works. I didnt know til we checked out that they charge for parking and you just use your room key to get in and out of the parking garage, so I was paying everytime...

"I love that the Marina Inn is still there. It is old but in great shape. The manager works hard at keeping it clean and the staff is very helpful, The rooms are large and quiet. It is in such a beautiful spot, by what once was a great marina. The marina needs to be dredged out so boats can return, but like the old areas in California, they are left in ruins by the cities and forgotten about. I will certainly return to the Marina Inn on my next visit to California"

"I would remove the “hotel” piece. Its a motel with updated rooms. The bathroom wasn’t 100% clean, there were still some hairs left from the previous occupants. The walls were also very thin. Our next door neighbor was singing very loudly having a party. Overall, if you want a relatively OK priced placed to stay and sleep, this is fine. I recommend bringing ear plugs for any noisy neighbors."
