"If you are like us a middle-aged backpacker, who wants to enjoy the beach in East Java, Pulau Merah there are better options in the town than this hotel. The hotel lies a little off from the village, but just a stone throw away from the beach! It does have breakfast served to your room and they have a biljard pool and very helpful staff, but other than that I’d choose for a different option more in the center."

"The host Nino is the best! He was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay welcome and also took us to interesting places. He helped us book all our excursions, to Mount Ijen. He took us around town and we got to see places off the tourist path! He also cooks food with his family nearby, and was willing to feed us at any time! My friends arrived around 12 am and he cooked us all dinner and gave us welcome tea as well!! The food was DELICIOUS!! The best Nasi Goreng we had our entire...
