"Room was really nice. Looks like they are currently remodeling and doing upgrades to the floors and stairwell. Area is very quiet. Room could be darker so if you need absolute darkness find additional means. Never had the breakfast so can't comment. Wish they had a phone for the guests to use somewhere to call them as there is no staff. Had a room mixup, where the room I was old I had, was not the room I was assigned. Once I got a hold of the using a locals phone, was resolved very quickly. "

"Easy stay in Reykjavik. Booked here for affordability and easy parking. 35ish minute walk to the heart of the city (of course could drive or take a bus but we love walking - and beautiful walking trails just out front). Clean comfortable room. Nice breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The pod was an excellent soze for a solo travellor abd the kitchen that was available made it easy to make your own food and save money i an expensive location. I was able to check in early which helped a lot since my flight landed very early."

"We had a pleasant stay. The hotel was in walking distance of many shops and restaurants and we were picked up for excursions right outside of the hotel. Very convenient."

"The hotel is well maintained. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast doesn't have too many choices compares to other hotels I have been, but the food was good. In terms of location, it was a bit hidden but we drove so it was not bad. Limited parking space around the hotel, but the staffs were able to tell us where to park on the street. Do not expect any nice view from the room because the building is low and blocked by other buildings beside it. Overall, clean room & great value for the price! Thank you."

"WARNING STAY AWAY: One step away from a scam!! I booked this property in advance as part of a larger vacation itinerary. There was NOTHING in the listing that said anything about being required to contact the property in advance for check in. A couple of days before check in I received an automated email saying that I was confirmed. Like most people, I opened up the booking in Expedia the morning of check in to see what the address and instructions for check in were. Little to my knowledge, tucked way under “check in instructions” it says you must contact the property 24 hrs in advance. I messaged them right away in the AM inquiring about check in, no response. Throughout the day I messaged them and called several times, with no response. I arrived onsite where there is a sign saying to call upon arrival, this was the same number I had been calling with no response or ability to leave a message. After receiving no response from the property by 6 pm at night, I was forced to make another booking at another hotel. I finally received a message from the property at 9:30 at night (!!!) saying they were sorry they thought they already sent me the check in information!! I asked for a refund and got no response or refund from there. I contacted Expedia and SHOCKINGLY Expedia was no help in processing my refund. What was supposed to be a stress free last day in Iceland turned into a stressful ordeal. Luckily my credit card company had my back and reversed the charge. Shame on you. "
