"Excellent stay...I booked two nights upon arrival and one night on my way out. This was the best place I stayed at during my 10-day trip. I arrived very early in the morning and I was offered breakfast and allowed to check in early which allowed me to shower and take a nap. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and gave me some good tips for local things to do in the city. Breakfast was A+ and it's so nice it's include, plus the coffee machine is delicious and the best from my trip. The beds...

"We enjoyed our stay at Icelandic Apartments. The facilities were clean and the kitchen was fairly well equipped. The only issues we had were with the door and room code, as well as the code to the laundry area for towels. However, the host worked with us to solve the issues and the response was immediate. We would stay there again."

The breakfast we had added on, which included fresh bread daily, yogurts, fruit, cheese etc was fantastic. The location made most of the top Reykjavik places to stay easy to walk to. "The hotel spa and evening restaurant was very pleasant. Staff in the main restaurant and spa lovely, though younger members may need training. Delivered wrong drinks and brought the bread with the soup after the meal was served but were very apologetic and lovely. Food was excellent, Staff in the breakfast area however rude and ignorant. Ended up making an official complaint. It was a mixed bag really. Some customer training required to improve standards. "

"Leuke schone kamer (4 persoons met Vide) badkamer klein en gedateerd maar voldoet. Je ruikt de zwavel in het warme water wel, dus wees voorbereid op een iets minder aangename geur in de badkamer. Lekkere bedden en goed ontbijt. Prima parkeerplek voor de deur."
