"Clean, well-equipped room with balcony and countryside views, friendly staff, lovely breakfast and fantastic pool and spa facilities. This was our second visit to Hatherley Manor and they maintained a consistently high standard of service on both occasions. One of the nicest hotel experiences we’ve had."

"All felt very dated. Walls and floors all paper thin, could hear everything from folks waking at 6am, with the addition of construction work right outside the window at 7:30am. Rooms, whilst clean, were basic and tired, and far too warm with no ability to adjust temperature. Pay and display parking (with no guest discount) is a bit odd too.
Not sure what grants this a 4*, but it certainly isn’t. Get what you pay for.

"This flat was very nicely appointed, the only issue we had was that despite adjusting the temperature controls in every room they appeared to make no difference to the actual temperature - they were either on or off regardless of the setting. However the booking policies, which are not mentioned clearly on this site, put us off travelling back. The owner wants you to send them photographic ID for every person staying and will only take a deposit by bank transfer so wants your bank details to...
