"lovely stay in a self catering apartment, well equipped with every thing you require.
A well stocked shop 2 doors away.
room was very quiet even though it was above the pub.
i would stay here again.
host were very polite and got us checked in quickly. "

"Spotless and warm room, comfy bed and friendly staff. Food home-cooked really well, especially tasty pan gravy with our roasts. Great stopover close to the motorway on our way to the south west."

"Very comfortable room, I slept extremely well. I was overlooking the main road so I imagine it would be quite noisy on a weekend but was perfect on a weekday. Plenty space and very comfortable bed and bedding. Not particularly modern but wasn't expecting that in a building this old!"

"Everything. The staff are so friendly, the room clean and comfortable. Great breakfast cooked to order and evening meals we had were delicious.
It’s a cosy little oldie worldly pub with 2 open fires, was nice and quiet when we went with a few locals in of an evening. Owner very helpful. Would recommend 👍"

"Definitely recommend The Fleece Inn!
Really good property to stay at for a really good price, the staff were extremely accommodating, always making our stay as welcoming as possible, breakfast was great, and the pub itself is perfect for a drink and a lovely meal!"

"We had a fabulous 2 night stay at The Slaughters Country Inn. The check in process, the room (cottage) was clean and had all the amenities you need. Comfy bed and lovely bathroom.
