"Good sized room and bathroom. No safe in the room and on the second morning, housekeeping didn't shut the door properly so anyone could have just wandered in. I'd booked room only so can't comment on breakfast. A pleasant stay, however and location is perfect."

"La struttura è tipicamente antica come tutto nella zona ma molto caratteristica e con i camini accesi tutto ha un fascino maggiore. Il personale è stato molto disponibile ed attento alle esigenze mie e di mia figlia. Ci siamo innamorate del posto e ci torneremo molto volentieri. L’unica cosa negativa è che il mercoledì e il giovedì la cucina era chiusa. A noi avrebbe fatto piacere restare a cenare nella struttura. Lunedì e martedì abbiamo mangiato piatti squisiti."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and hotel area was dated and rough round the edges but clean. My bed had a dent down the centre so prominent it felt like I was sleeping in a bowl. Over all, for the location it was good value for money."

"A lovely place to stay in a typical Cotswolds village… if you are looking for a base to venture around this ideal… a small car park vs the size of the venue to be prepared to leave your vehicle on the road..lots of walks available on the door step and then nothing better to return after a days walk than a pint in front of the open fires"

"Ideal for Chepstow racecourse. Not much else about the area without walking or taxis. On checki the weirdest thing happened they wouldn’t take payment and told me was a,ready paid for. Rooms we had were small but the bed was comfy. Rooms ok some could do with a lick of paint. Breakfast is ok I’m fussy about food so didn’t eat a lot just toast and coffee but the others in my party had the full English not so sure about paying extra for an extra sausage etc. hotel was very noisy on the Saturday...
