"Very friendly staff and room was in a very good and clean condition. One has to remember that it is above/adjacent to a pub/restaurant and so there some minor issues with outside lights and sounds due the the kitchen fan (which was turned off once the kitchen closed for the night). Also note that the place has no on-site parking but the car park opposite offers space at £4 per day. Well served, British breakfast. Overall, a lovely experience."

"I booked a superior room for 2 nights with my wife. We arrived about 2.30pm and the room wasn’t ready. There was some confusion from the front desk about our later dinner reservation, the receptionist stated I didn’t have a booking and despite my assertions she didn’t really seem to believe that I had booked it months ago. "Lovely place to stay staff very friendly and food was delicious room basic but very nice just what we needed for a few days away will definitely return"

"Access was easy, room clean and as described. Only drawback was my room was roadside and was affected by the traffic noise. Could triple glazing be used to avoid any noise?"
