"My family and I always enjoy staying at Residence Inn—it’s our top choice whenever we visit Berkeley. The hotel is only about a 5-minute walk from the campus and very close to BART, with plenty of shops and great restaurants nearby. The room is very well organized, the bathroom is spotless, and the bed is perfectly comfortable—not too soft or too firm. Having a kitchen in the room is extremely convenient and makes our stay even better. I especially want to mention the front desk service—Georgina...

"The staff was fantastic. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The room as well was very clean. My only concern was the shower curtain was too short, causing water to be everywhere out of the shower. Thankfully there were enough towels to put one on the floor. If I ever need to come back to Berkeley I will return! "

"Front desk staff were consistently kind and helpful during my stay. My travel dates kept changing and I rebooked the hotel through Expedia each time, but thankfully the staff were great and I was able to stay in the same hotel room the whole time. Nice hotel, parking is expensive though!"

"This was a lovely stay in a darling town. The room was super clean and cozy. We felt very safe and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is making sure you call the hotel if you have any special request at all, and to make sure you have check in instructions . Do not just message through an app. It is a contactless hotel, so it felt more like an air BNB than a hotel in regard to communication. There is no front desk,etc. It is an excellent place to stay! "
