"What a disappointment. We have stayed at La Quinta many times, but this hotel was a dump. We ended up in a bottom room that was supposed to be oceanfront, but all we saw out our window was a berm of grass and weeds. It also was where people walked their dogs. The walk to the beach had all kinds of trash and garbage. The beach was nasty. We ended up being put at the end of a hall which overlooked the hotel next-door who was having a motorcycle convention. "We got there early gave the lady at the t desk our info and said we will be back at check in which was 4. Got back at 3:55 she said room not ready I said ok will it be at 4 which is check in time she said don't know we are busy. I was not happy we did get in our room at 4:20 Room was nice ocean view but was disappointed that there was poop on the tilt and fridge had some red stuff in it that spilled and microwave was not cleaned "

"First of all, the pictures online showing the rooms and views were not accurate. It doesn't show that there is a building in front of it blocking the view they show online. The pool was clean and the waffles were good. The room was not very clean and the tub was gross. There was a lot of hair in the tub/shower. The room smelled like a dog. The beverage machine where the free breakfast is located was terrible. The orange juice didn't taste like orange juice, the apple juice tasted awful...

"We were very pleased with this small resort. Everyone was so friendly. They had so many fun outdoor events (live music, pool bar, lawn games, outdoor movies and of course a beautiful pool). We loved feeling like we were in the Caribbean at this adorable little spot. Definitely would come back. Bathroom in our room could have used an updated but definitely not a disappointment as it’s a beach hotel. Very clean!"
