"This property is in a great location. And the staff is extremely kind and very nice and helpful. I did feel for the amount of money that we spent. The room could have been cleaner and a little bit more upgraded for upwards of $400 a night. The pool area is not as large as appears to be online, and because the tiki bar at the pool area and the fire pit have public access and if you are in a beachfront room you will hear what is going on out on the boardwalk, as well as the tiki bar and fire pit...

"Only one elevator was working and the indoor pool was closed half the time we were there. We had to ask for new towels twice before receiving them. Overall the property seemed pretty run down."

"Hotel location and parking is convenient. Brianna was very helpful at check in. The room was very clean and the bath/shower was updated and very clean. The pool area was welcoming and the walk to the beach was very convenient. Relaxed and well appointed areas for seating at the end of the hotel before the beach access. Our room had a very nice refrigerator, but no microwave. (In room Keurig coffee maker was nice, but you may want your own pods - the “house” pods were “meh”)."

"So many postiives to write here. 1-the location is superb. One block from the water and a couple of blocks walk to some of the best restaurants in town. The Oyster bar was so good we visited twice. 2- The B and B is perfect. A very warm host who instantly made you feel at home. There is a happy hour with draft beer every day! 3- The room is perfectly spacious, immaculately clean 4- Whatever you need, the host will provide. "Expedia’s description said our room would have a stove to cook on but when we arrived that was not the case. The hotel said they couldn’t fix it because we booked through a third party. The lady at the desk every time I went by or called was not friendly at all. We did have a fridge, microwave and a few dishes but no dish soap was provided. We had to buy our own dish soap because even after asking they never brought any. They also took all of the dish rags and never gave us another in return....

"Enjoyed the staff and property. Close to Southport and the coast yet close to local restaurants not just “resort” priced restaurants. Breakfast was ok but not many fruit offerings and items weren’t always refilled in a timely manner."
