"Loved the ‘Olde Worlde’ charm and history of the Inn, The only minor fault was that there were no leaflets of surrounding places of interest to visit. However we would would highly recommend This property. Thank you."

"I booked a single room and the room was fine, however, there's been a heatwave in the UK and it continued while I was staying at this hotel. I would have thought that, given there is no air conditioning in the hotel rooms and the heatwave was ongoing, a fan would have been provided. My room faced west so it was quite hot and it didn't cool down much as the evening progressed because there was no cross breeze - just one window on one side of the room. "Making an effort, new carpets etc, but needs maintenance, black mould on walls, lots of cobwebs, loud generator making beeps all night."

"I liked it was a 13th century property because it has a lot of history. Staff were not visible and liquid soap was not replaced for three days in shared toilet. The young bar tender was pleasant and the kitchen was do it yourself catering. So no breakfast served. Cereals, milk and other loose foods were available though this aspect was not clearly communicated from the start. One bathroom had a power shower which was handy, due to the lack of rain I didn't want to use the baths."

"Facilities were excellent something for everyone. Plenty of kids entertainment on site and outside. Indoor pool was lovely. The restaurant food and breakfast was very freshly prepared and full of flavour. Great choice! The staff were really welcoming and friendly they made you feel comfortable. I will 100% return due to the above and general location of the hotel a walk away from the beach. Very happy ."

"The rooms were recently renovated and the beds were comfortable, out door pool was lovely maybe needs a bit of lovin but very nice, breafast was delicious and all staff were amazing would I return to this hotel absolutely. Thanks for a lovely stay guys 😊"

"Very friendly welcome and lovely spacious room. A thermos of fresh milk was ready for us every evening on the reception counter for tea/ coffee in our room the next morning. Breakfast was delicious with excellent selection of fruit, yoghurt, granola and choice of cooked breakfast. The location is excellent too. A short 10 minute walk and you're on the beach at Instow. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. "

"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."
