"Everything is good"

"Our room on the second floor was clean and had blinds to keep out the light at night. It was adequate but, no doubt to keep in style with being the oldest hotel in Great Britain, it wishes to retain an oldie worldie charm so the decor may appear outdated. Our bathroom could do with a revamp as the toilet seat was loose and one of the shower heads was leaking and wouldn't stay in position. Breakfast was the 'help yourself style' and there was sufficient choice. However, the breakfast room seemed...

"We were instantly made to feel welcome when checking in, everything was explained to us regarding the facilities the dining arrangements and the bars. Very friendly and polite staff too. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend."

"Stayed here for 3 nights, no house cleaning, no fresh linen, no fresh towels, hotel does not accept cash, bar closed quite early, very over priced for food, beer, tea or coffee, I was charged £26.60 for 2 very small brioche rolls with rasher and egg and 2 small cappuccinos. Would not recommend and won’t stay again 😡"

"Room was very clean and comfortable, thanks for putting in the fan. receptionist was very welcoming and efficient and a lot of fun, so the stay started well. Did not use the facilities so cant comment. Overall very happy and would recommend."

"The room was spotless staff lovely breakfast was great hot and continental on offer. Parking free . The rooms look a bit tired and dated but the bed was very comfortable. Shower could be hotter . But not worth complaining about . It was a much needed restful stay . No real complaints"

"It is what it is! A recognisable hotel right next to the airport. It's not a destination hotel and there are people coming and going all the time. If you have an early start or a late arrival, it's a perfectly adequate place to spend a night."
