Drury Inn & Suites Cincinnati Northeast Mason

"Drury in Mason was okay. The staff was nice, and the room was spacious. There were hairs in the second bed when we arrived, but my wife and I slept in the same bed, so we never used that one.
We left the room for the breakfast that the hotel offers daily around 9:00am and were gone for the afternoon. The breakfast was really good. They had a great selection of items you could choose from, and it was surprisingly good for a hotel, we were happy with it.
When we returned, after being gone for the morning and most of the afternoon, the room was still dirty. We did not have the DND tag on the door. Around 6:00pm, we went to the front desk and asked them if someone could clean our room and was told that “housekeeping wasn’t available at this hour.” We weren’t fans of that. They offered us clean towels, but that was it. We were confused on why our room was never cleaned during our entire stay. We stayed for two (2) nights total.
Other than that, the breakfast was really good and we loved the idea of the kickback, that was unique and fun to go to. The staff was friendly for the most part. We didn’t use the pool, hot tub, or anything like that, so I’m unsure how that was. "

"Wanted to stay closer to where we were going for the weekend and I don’t know how this place has decent ratings. The cleanliness was fine, but it’s clear that they don’t prioritize it. The curtains to the windows were nasty. The door didn’t shut all the way so we had to use a chair to keep it closed and you could hear the outside clear a day meaning we didn’t sleep much. Found a half drank pop can in the lamp shade between the bed. When we asked for more blankets and towels, nobody came twice, so the 3rd time we asked was when we went to the lobby and just asked them to hand it to us there. We didn’t even want to see what breakfast was about, it made me sick thinking about it. The atmosphere wasn’t good and when we expressed our issues, we were just told that there was a miscommunication. I don’t know what that is supposed to mean, but when it was our last day we left so fast. Never going back there. I’ve been to places nearby that cost less for better quality. It’s not worth the convenience of being closer to Kings Island. "

"Arrived for room at 11pm to find out the reservation was cancelled by the staff after “attempting to” contact me. Had already paid for everything and essentially received a shrug of the shoulders and a “too bad” mentality. Borderline worst service I have ever received, despite checking in on the app, calling the day before and confirming and paying they did absolutely nothing. Honestly, every person working the night of 5/2 should be let go or given a seminar in customer service or at a minimum how to interact with humans in a helpful or meaningful way. Pathetic."

"The shower control was uncontrollable and continued to turn and turn to the point. I was fearful it would come out of the wall. It needs to be adjusted. The door automatically closes, and when it did, the lock popped loose from the door. It was eventually fixed the next day. There are a couple of other small things, but in general, it was not a good experience."
