"Check in was quick and easy, the only problem for me was hauling my bags up the outer staircase. The room was clean and reasonably spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the en suite shower room was also clean. Jacqui was very pleasant and helpful, and I would happily stay here again."

"Really lovely stay at the hotel. Family of 5, with 3 children 5 and under and we felt very welcome. Perfect for a visit to Peppa Pig only 10 mins away. The staff were great. Really welcoming and no issue with the noise that children bring. Dinner was lovely. Although pub grub it was really tasty. Family room was very big. Although a little tired looking was absolutely fine for our stay. Would definitly recommend and would stay again. Only downside. The outside area would really benefit...

"If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. "The owners have clearly made a great effort to make sure this old building gives you a welcoming environment. The room was spacious and clean, the Wi-Fi excellent and secure and the room servicing great. The whole environment was well looked after. If you thought that was good? - I can’t speak highly enough of the staff; reception, bar, breakfast & dinner - all different people but all gave excellent service. I have no problem in returning next time we are on the Island."
