"Quite pleased with service all around. I checked in early and there was a fee but not what other hotels in area are charging. No food available until 5:00pm. That’s when restaurant opens. Food choices were good for evening meals "

"The room was dark and very tired. Loose light fittng that's not suitable for family stay. Breakfast was sad. Plates and glasses are dirty. Glasses you can feel it still had dirts all around them.I thought it would be equivalent to Premier inn but it's much worse. On the way to reception at ground floor, it smell like weed. One of the private room was playing loud music. Towels and beddings are dirty. .."

"We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. The rooms are spacious and high-end; we easily fit a large dog crate in the room with plenty of floor space to spare. The complimentary breakfast was high quality and delicious. "Dog friendly room was clean but very basic and tired/worn looking even for a dog friendly room. Missing the basics like a mirror in the bedroom & maybe a coat hook by the front door. However the hotel itself was fantastic, set within beautiful grounds. The staff throughout were excellent & very welcoming from check-in to the bar staff to the restaurant staff. The food in the restaurant was incredible & reasonably priced too. We would definitely return. "
