"Some of the positive reviews are likely from week-days. NEVER go here in the weekend. Your room is above the hotel's pub that makes your stay unbearable. It is not just people having a drink, but actively partying and shouting with a dj. This place should not be listed as a hotel. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. "

"My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Marshall Meadows Manor House. We stayed one night, but ate dinner and the included breakfast at the hotel. The room was clean, the food excellent, and the staff genuinely helpful. The manager assisted with luggage, provided us with helpful advice for our destination the following day, and was very attentive while also serving at the restaurant. "An ideal stopover for us on our way to catch the ferry from Aberdeen. It's a relatively quiet part of the A1, leafy, and fields with distant views of Bamburgh and the sea (all rooms have this view so away from the road). We had a great family room, a bed each for us - 3 adults and 2 pooches. Staff were very friendly and hard working. Breakfast was great, tasty and plentiful. Thanks all, see you on our return."

"The property was close to Bamburgh Castle and Farne Islands that is great in summer for Puffins. We were given the smallest double bed room even though we booked a proper queen room that were available."
