McCauley's Havilland Bay

"Extremely clean, recently renovated rooms. Great amenities in the room- mini fridge with freezer space (perfect for freezing ice packs overnight), Keurig coffee Maker, space to put your bags off the floor. You can see a lot of effort is being made to continuously update and modernize the overall property. There are some nice touches throughout the property. We also arrived on a day the restaurant was closed, and they offered to prepare us food knowing that there really isn't anything nearby. That was very considerate. There is some construction taking place on site; however you do not hear any noise from the site."

"My husband and I stayed there for two nights recently, my husband had a heart attack earlier this year and was our first trip since. Our first night there my husband got really sick and needed something to help him. The hotel did not have items needed when I went to the front desk. Gentleman there offered to tell me where a store was but it was around 11:00 pm and we were there from the US and wasn’t familiar with the area and I didn’t want to leave my husband. The guy at the front desk got someone to cover for him and he went to the store for me. He offered this and I never ask him to. To me this was above and beyond his job duties. I was so nervous I forgot to ask him his name. This was August 20th on night shift, he was a dark skinned guy, maybe in his late 20’s. I wished I had gotten his name but I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart! Wallisch Family."

"The staff member I dealt with was excellent. He explained everything very well. The place is a cottage; however the room was not as clean as we had anticipated. Parking is excellent and is right outside the cottage."

"Where do I start.. This Place is my GO TO in Canada. Price was on point .. very clean . Comfy . Close to many food options, Walmart rttight down the road . Located off Hwy 17 which was where 90% of what we wanted to see was . Yall we got Sat & Sun night in late August & we could have heard a pin drop at night 🌙. Wow..!! Like I said this is our goto after this trip . Ladies at front desk , absolutely wonderful. Thank yall for an amazing stay , we Will see yall again."

"This was the perfect stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room Was newly renovated - a perfect mix of rustic and modern. Located right on Batchawana Bay. Morning swims were refreshing. And the apple fritters are delicious"
