"Self check in, they emailed details before hand with clear instructions. Room was a reasonable size, plenty of storage,, an excellent tea tray. The shower/toilet was quit small but it's an old building so to be expected. The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. The linen was clean and fresh. The bed was, oh, so comfy! "I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "
