"A great place to stay at, perfect location, staff all lovely, very attentive. The breakfast was second to none 👍 Parking not a problem"

"Clean room, helpful staff, nice breakfast, great parking."

"Our hosts were very helpful with local area of interest. Castles, walks, cafes and pubs. They were extremely accommodating and always on call."

"Reception staff were excellent. TV in room didn’t work. Pool area was very clean. The restaurant for breakfast was very good but service in the evening wasn’t very good, no cutlery, no salt on the table, getting staff attention was hard work but appreciate there was training of new staff."

"Nice stay staff friendly, comfy bed clean bathroom does need a lick of paint in places and some marks on carpet cleaned. We had breakfast nice selection would have liked a bit hotter however quality was good."

"We didn't stay at the property, as when we entered the 4th floor bedroom it was really hot. the window was open to its 3 inch extent, and there was a tower fan, that had little effect on the heat . The reception staff said that none of the rooms had working air conditioning, so we couldn't change rooms. We decided to leave and find alternative accomodation."

Our visit coincided with a 30C heatwave but our room on the first floor, although without air conditioning, remained at a pleasant...

"Good sized room and great price. The manager was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay."

I would say that the hotel previously was 4-star, but I wouldn't say it was 4-star today. The room was clean and staff welcoming. Parts of look like it needed attention. But there was some scaffolding up and the restaurant was closed for refurbishment, so they're possibly making some improvements. Only one of the two lifts...

"Excellent base for my business trip, short walk to beach and town"

"The outside tables could do with replacing. Accommodation was good but the bedside lamps didn’t work and toilet roll holder needs replacing. The food was excellent and restaurant is very well presented but the inner door from the conservatory closed with a loud bang that we could hear clearly from our room."
