"The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms are basic at best. One of two lifts is out of order. The working lift is very slow. Bath mats are provided on request. Hotel should provide as standard. The heater in the bathroom has a lot of rust on it. No complementary tooth brush and no tooth paste. They are available to be purchased from hotel reception. The bed mattress is not comfortable and felt it had a very high mileage. The door access mechanism failed and the access card could not...

Of particular interest was on the ongoing 'construction' but nearing completion, of a waterfall and pond within the limits of the garden.
