"Wonder step back in time. Quiet , unassuming and comfortable. You relax as soon as you step through the doors. Small dinner menu but freshly cooked, reasonably priced and delicious. Breakfast menu equally good. Wonderful staff team with old fashioned values. Thank you for making our stay so nice!"

"I was visiting Forres for a work event and needed a hotel nearby. The Carlton was lovely. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming; check in was a breeze. The room was super clean and had all the amenities you needed. The bed was excellent and very comfy. Would thoroughly recommend this excellent hotel which is great value for money."

"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. "The Westerlea is a good location for Nairn beach and the breakfast is excellent. We took our pet dog with us and she was made very welcome. I would definitely stay again"
