"Cute lodge. We stayed in the Safari room. Rooms are small but were fine as we were there just for the night. A 2nd chair by the table would have been nice. Breakfast isn't served early on the weekend so we didn't have any. Wish they had something to go or offer earlier times. There was an event while we were there and while it was loud when we walked in, once we were in our room, it wasn't that bad and it did end by 10pm. "

"Room was okay. Bathroom shower was not cleaned and there wasn’t hot water except for the morning of our departure. Swimming pool was altogether disgusting. Tiles were covered in dirt and grim all around, there was green mold on the outside edge around pool, and the water was murky/dark. Very disappointing as we picked this hotel for the pool. "

"The room was Ok at first. I wasn’t the cleanest but it wasnt outright dirty either. I wouldn’t walk barefoot on the carpet - it was gross. The worst part was roaches in the bathroom. I checked out as soon as I saw them. I woke up to roaches on the bathroom counter. I packed and checked out. When I checked out the ladies were told about the roaches and all they could say is sorry. Not a place I would recommend staying. "

"The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I could walk from my floor into the parking lot. Very convenient. The staff was very helpful and friendly."

"The restaurant for dinner had a nice menu. The breakfast buffet was decent, but not fantastic. The hotel setting is beautiful, but our room was arranged so that when the door opened from the hallway, the bed was right there. We did not like the arrangement of the room, and it was very, very dark with a tiny window looking out into the back unloading dock."

"The breakfast was great, as were the staff. We misunderstood the pool amenity. The picture looks like it has an attached hot tub but it is actually a kiddie pool."

"This is a hidden gem. I had no idea this property was open to the public, and what a beautiful spot. The Washington University campus is gorgeous, and it made a morning walk extra enjoyable. The staff was helpful and our room was spotless. Parking was quick and easy right across the street. "

"I left some items behind in the shower Saturday, April 11, 2026 when I checked out called the hotel and was told the housekeeping supervisor looked and didn’t see anything.. NO THEY TOOK MY BELONGINGS"
